SpaceX continues to test launch Starship

Leaked internal documents accuse Google of secretly collecting user data

According to an article on technology publication 404 Media dated June 3, citing a copy of internal data, US technology corporation Google accidentally collected children's voice data and leaked information about their trips. as well as the home addresses of those using the carpooling service.

The article points to data containing thousands of privacy-related incidents over 6 years, from 2013 to 2018.

404 Media said it obtained the data set from an anonymous source and then verified the information. Google has also confirmed the content in the leaked document file.

Issues noted in the document include issues with Google's products and data collection practices; vulnerabilities in third-party vendors used by Google; and errors caused by employees and contractors that affect Google's systems or data.

In one case, Google's voice service recorded the voices of about 1,000 children for about an hour. Google then deleted all this data. Another issue mentioned was Google Street View copying and storing license plates from photos.

404 Media's article also points out that the issues documented in the document only affected a small number of people or were quickly fixed.
